*OT* If GM had been a good buy the vulture guys would have bid and dismembered it a long time ago. The firm has been losing market share for the last 40 years. Driving to the local Barnes and Noble this afternoon I listened to that blowhard Limbaugh ranting about how GM has become a 'welfare state'. He said health care costs were crippling the firm. Yeah, that's partially true, but what about the crappy, poorly styled and built products that they have been putting out forever? How about the fact that they make most of their margin on larger trucks and SUV's? At a 15B market cap investors are essentially writing off the company for now. Only way I could see the stock do a nice trading pop is if the government got more interested in health care...

Best regards,
John
