Bruce, c'mon... you know there is only one Cute and Cuddly Canadian ! The truth is out there for both of us to discover. Yep ! I think the tone is more inclusive up here still but then again I think it is overrated from my personal experience. BTW.. I'm trying to get my passport and they do not accept my old baptismal certificate so I need to get a new certificate from Le Directeur d l'état civil.. Anyway I call up and take the English option (gasp!!! yes folks there is an English option amazingly :o) After the spiel I press 0 for an operator... but they are too busy and I'm asked to call back later during business hours blah blah... Sooo I think I'll call back on the French line and see what happens... I get through and say Hi I'm calling from Toronto.. and she starts in English and I laughed and continued in French... The lady was most pleasant and explained all I needed to know.. Of course now I'm curious and wondering aha! I got through in French! ... Now do not get too excited all the anti Quebec folks... I dial again, take the French option again and I am told to call back ... we are overloaded... so I was just lucky... BTW the site was quite well done in French and that other language... what is it again ... In Ontario it's great to ask for service in French when the lineups are too long LOL ... B
