I don't really trust any politician to look after my interests, the very nature of the job is a magnet for greedy egotists. You are right, as most of us are aware, the feds have been pushing costs on to the provinces who in turn pass it on to municipalities, we get increased user fees and/or less services. The same is happening south of us. In fact they have done it, yet still have all time record federal deficits. That is exactly why I do not see joining the US as a panacea. I saw that you are renewing your Passport, same here, in fact I started to fill out the application today. Fee is now $87, wasn't long ago it was $25. It sucks. Enjoy your dinner, mine is starting to churn just thinking about this "stuff". Cheers,
