RE: "When the tables are turned, how often does a conservative come to the defense of a liberal subject to a witch hunt?"

I think Dole, who is Republican, is the type of person to call off witch hunts. He seems to have character.

But I have a serious question for the thread - how many times do you hear a Republican say, "I am sorry." Is it part of a bully belief system never to apologize, but to always blame the other guy?

On a related note, here's something funny - true story too - Fox Network had a program the other day, "Blame the liberals for the gasoline shortage."

No joke, it was a serious program. They actually meant it.

I didn't watch the program, but heard about it. They were blaming liberals for the gas shortage. Too funny.

But they didn't cover why people bought Hummers, or why there is a lack of an energy Hybrid policy, etc. It's a Bushism not to present certain data.

On a different note, I'm really hoping Bill Frist wins the Republican nomination for Presidency. This would give Democrats a great chance to finally win an election! Go Bill Frist!

Regards,
Amy J
