I must confess that I didn't note the fact this was merely a two month deal..I focused on the "expansion" headline and this..."company will begin working with Kraft Foods on an exclusive basis on the discovery and development of novel flavor modifiers in a new product field in the dessert category."

Reflecting back on your point, why would they merely extend for a few months while they are announcing an exclusive basis for a new product category?
