My point here id that ELX got VIXL (sans IB) for *much* cheaper than Q's ANCR. I owned plenty of QLGC stock as an employee (still have too much), and was conveniently locked out of selling during the ANCR buy/Naz crash, so yes I want to company to do well. I and all the others were told they would do a billion in revs/year by now as HK mapped out the exponential growth in storage to come. Didn't happen. There was a supposed bidding war for ANCR at the time and Q chased them.

And this VP who suddenly quit before earnings is a bit unnerving. Generally, people don't quit Q.

But I expect a nice news announcement along w/ earnings release Wed. Probably have to do w/ CSCO and 4 gig SMB switches.
