Talking points? That is the truth. 70% of the American Sheeple actually believed the Bush Adminstration's propaganda about the Saddam 9/11 connection, even though anyone who examines the available evidece from sources such as the CIA, knows there was no connection (the 30% or so who correctly understood the situation). The situation in America has reached the point of just being plain comical. Our government can tell just about any lie, and 70% of the people will believe them. Why the U.S. government actually has credibility with the American people is rather hard to figure, considering all the lies told since Viet Nam, but so be it. People want to feel good about themselves and their country, so they believe what they want to believe. For some of us, it's just comical. :-)
