2 points: 1. When did UC Davis become a major university? Don't get me wrong. I am major fan of the UC system and it was the best college system in the world pre-Governor Reagan. However, Davis was never one of the star campuses. Berkeley is a terrific school and UCLA is fine for a more modern student. Santa Cruz is quirky but occasionally brilliant. Santa Barbara is for surfers and gigolos and good looking babes. Davis is a cow town and UC Davis is an Ag school. There is nothing wrong with that, but learning you don't milk male horses does not rank up there intellectually with discussing Kant in the coffee houses of Berkeley.

2. Why does Keynes get the blame if politicians only deploy half of his theory?
