The nomination is Hillary's for the asking. She began her shift to the center long before Kerry was nominated. She has been relatively supportive of Bush in Iraq and has made several trips over there. We should never underestimate Hillary Clinton. She may be successful in redefining herself, particularly if she is not strongly challenged from the left in the Democratic primaries. Her base will understand what she is doing. The Bill Clinton years will be eight years distant and people have short memories. She will chew up Kerry. Pardon the reference, but she has larger cojones than Kerry.

Her two biggest decisions may be: Run married to Bill, or run divorced from Bill. Run with Bill alive, or run with Bill dead.
