Goldens are called rugs and swamp collies? I don't think I understand the swamp collie reference, really. Certainly they are very much like rugs in that they flatten out their back legs and occupy a huge amount of floor space very close to the ground, very quietly, like an inanimate object. One really weird thing about mine is that he is so relaxed he doesn't even move if a big heavy human foot is about to step on him.
