Religious extremists and charlatans like Robertson, Falwell, Dobson, Swaggart, Bakker, Oral Roberts, Tilton and all the rest. They all have one thing in common. They abuse the Bible by mis-reading it deliberately to create a fantasy world where Armageddon and doomsday are approaching, where everyone but they themselves are evil and sinful and where they are the only mouthpieces of God and Jesus on earth, the prophets. Therefore, anything they do can be explained away by saying "God wanted me to" or "the devil is attacking us".

Mixed in with this are various levels of tyrannical redneck rightwing extremism ranging from the polite to the rabid and hate-mongering.

I would not let these freaks bother me, but they are trying to take over our government now and have the heads of the congress and the senate pandering to them, as well as Bush and Jeb Bush. So they have become extremely dangerous to the well-being and sanity of this nation.
