I think you misunderstood my statement. Let me be clearer. If one was to truely be a Christian, one would and could literally follow the teachings of Jesus.

The Bible never mentions any prediction of modern times.

Sure it does and some of it is quite interesting, but it takes a lot of skill and knowledge to really understand and piece it all together.

Christ was absolutely a-political just like you said. The Bible is clear that one should follow the laws of Government, but not be in Government or politics.
