Yes, I don't know if I agree with all of his conclusions, but his conclusion that demographics is the largest driver of consumer spending, seems pretty logical to me. Alot of economists call Dent a pseudo-economist, though, meaning his is voodoo economics and not real analysis. He's been remarkably right, though. So it's hard to argue with his record. But his predictions for the next 5 years are extremely hard to believe, even though everyone wants to believe them. :)
