Dinausaurs clearly existed, but it is true that plaster bones make up a lot of the dinausaurs you see on display on museums. Even though it was 30 years ago, I still remember the tour director telling us school children this at the Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. I really don't think the existence or non-existence of dinausaurs provides any evidentiary value as to why we are here.
