Why would that be negative? I happen to live about an hour from NYC and could actually smell the WTC fumes on a day after 9/11 when the wind was blowing westward. I have friends and family in and around NYC. I'm the last person who wants to see the U.S. attacked again. Kudos to the Bush team for bagging 'al Qaeda No. 3'.

I just wish the Bush team would also focus their efforts domestically. We shouldn't drop everything just because there's a war going on overseas. I hate to say it, but our standard of living has definitely been diminished by a notch or two because of our excessive foreign military adventurism since WW2. There are clearly projects that have gone unfunded or underfunded because the miltary eats it all up. The money just isn't available for domestic priorities.
