On a related note, NASDAQ is implementing a net
surveillance device aimed at discussion forums in
an effort to catch fraudulent touts and stock scams.

A thread has already sprung up to address this:
exchange2000.com

IMO, such a system is technologically not capable
of catching the real culprits as intended, but
certainly has potential for stepping on the toes
of SI posters.

This 'NazNet U2', as I call it, has engulfed about
two million $bux. I think the money is more efficiently
spent educating the public as to how these crooks
really operate. Show us the warning signs, I say.
Show us the methods and commonalities, I say.

But stay the hell away from my modem.
