that's a great idea! people could add to the fund in lieu of birthday, xmas and graduation gifts uncle joe and grandma millie could remember the fund in their wills with mom, dad, grandparents, family, friends, self funding and compounding, it certainly would add up over 60 some years combine that with the IRA's, 401k's, you're looking at a nice retirement nest egg [not to mention good old fashioned savings]
