Let me explain this in simpler terms. Wolfowitz: Iraqi oil money (he lied here) would be enough to pay for reconstruction. Cost to the US: $1.7 BILLION. Current cost to the US: $300 BILLION. Why? NO IRAQI OIL MONEY. In fact, we were and probably still are, subsidizing Iraqi gas pumps in a country filled with oil! You and your neighbor are paying for Iraqis to fill up with 5 cents/gal oil while paying $2.50 for your own oil. If there was Iraqi oil money, we wouldn't have to be dishing it out ==== DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
