Now Ish, chickens are very intelligent animals, with the full range of emotions as humans (wonder if they suffer from jealousy or rage?). There are at least a dozen websites that say so.

Aren't turkeys related in some manner to chickens?

I've heard stories about turkeys that drown in rain storms because they sit with their mouths open to the heavens? Some intelligence there.
