That was a mistake. I didn't know slander was illegal. But it's just a word anyway. What matters is the deliberate attempt to harm someone by spreading things you know are false information. Slander-libel I guess are the same thing legally. If Kerry wanted to I'm sure he could sue and win against Drudge and others. I'm sure he's tempted to, but by suing a liar you also lower yourself to his/her level. Maybe all non-rightwingers should sue Anne Coulter for calling us all "traitors". The biggest class action lawsuit in history. (fantasizing)
