I am not hung up on infant mortality. This conversation started with someone saying America is the best country on earth, if I remember correctly. While you and most other Americans might love it to death here, by the markers that measure standard of living, the U.S. does not have the highest standard of living. Now most people would associate standard of living with being best. Infant mortality is just one of those markers. There are quite a few more. I am interested in the big picture, not infant mortality specifically.
