Selective memory and selective reporting are both fascinating. It is interesting that Republicans advanced and voted for civil rights laws when Democrats would not. The fact remains that only once, against one of LBJ's corrupt cronies, did the filibuster ever get used prior to the current time. That was one corrupt nomination blocked. LBJ withdrew the nomination when he realized he could not bully the Senate.

These are ten honorable women and men. As we have proven, the appearance is very strong that Democrats are racist.

Minorities and women are not as stupid as you believe they are. The NAALCP, NOWL and other Democrat front organizations are rapidly losing relevance. Many union members are Republicans. Only leadership is wholesale Democrat.

Minority and female voters are judging the racist and sexually discriminating Democrats. It is not a favorable judgement among the rank and file.

The Senate is asking for a vote on nominees currently before them. Tom Daschle won his stand at filibustering nominees. Will Harry Reid win the same reward? (Harry Reid is the name to know in Nevada if you want to buy federal lands at huge discounts after paying Harry's son high consulting fees.)
