Ish,

Hook up your fax or computer to that line and let the modem answer. When an autodialer meets a modem - it takes your number off its call list.

I have a friend who uses his fax machine this way - when he picks up the phone and there is a click or hesitation - its probably an autodialer so he turns on the fax.

I have a second line which I use only for making calls. It got a lot of sales calls - so I hooked it up to my fax/printer. Now I get some spam faxes, but the call volume dropped by 90%.
