You are right about the polarization, and IMHO it's coming from the RR. I'm looking forward to when it backfires. What you can't do is separate the religion from the man. When you elect a John Kennedy you've got to figure some of the decisions are going to be based on the values of his Catholic upbringing. On the other hand I had no idea how radical Bush was going to be --- based on his religion. John
