RTS- not bad... institutions are holding around 75% of
available outstanding stock in AMAT...that leaves approx 25%
for individuals to own... IMO, once the amount of stock held
by institutions falls to around 50% it will be the time for
individuals to buy.... As it stands now, any buying rally
is met with institutional selling, which keeps the stock price
depressed, because institutions are offloading some of their
excessive holdings. There must be large volatility swings
in AMAT price that represents a risk/reward option for
individual investors or they will just watch and not play.
Right now the institutions are controlling the playing field,
which is keeping individual investors on the sidelines, IMO.
Buying and holding AMAT, by individuals, currently just ties up
resources better used elsewhere, until the playing field is a
little more level. BB
