A financial disaster will be a defacto return to the gold standard and a guaranteed balanced budget amendment and probably a lot of people just plain leaving the country. Anybody holding federal reserve notes, bonds, notes and bills will lose everything. Only those holding real assets like real estate, cold and commodities will be safe, unless communists seize all private property for themselves.
