Are you in Cali? Seems like that would be the only place with prices quite that extreme.... Sounds a lot like my sister-in-law....she lives in L.A., has a condo that's appreciated mightily. Now she wants to start leveraging up, and told my wife (who's been solidly indoctrinated in housing bubble theory by yours truly) "don't try and talk me out of it". Sounds just like someone out on the ledge of the 20th story of a building (and it is, financially speaking......)
