There is no way that Bellamy Road is less than 7-5 in a field this size with as many good wins as some of these horses have.
I do see him as the favorite but I dont seem him as a clearly dominant horse. There are so many horses that have to take some money and some have to take serious money- Bandini , Hy Fly , Frankels Horse, Greeleys Galaxy all have to be under 10-1. there are a bunch that have to be below 25-1. I think its likely that Bellamy Road will be about his morning line price perhaps a high 2-1. The factors which would make me leery are-not having beaten anything, good chance for a fast pace up front, distance. good chance to go backwards off such a fast race. Last year I thought that Smarty Jones was the one to beat and couldnt find anyone to beat him with. This year I think 10 horses could win it. Maybe more if they run blistering fractions- because then the trip horse usually wins and that is very unpredictable.
