Usual stuff around the house...BUT Have had lots of company here, plus my group's meetings (getting some head start on some programs for our group for next year, plus have some State Conference stuff to do--it's in 2 1/2 weeks), plus getting ready to go north this next week for 3 days... One of the programs I give on Pioneer Women finds a small town near the border the ideal home for one of these famous pioneers... I am going through some of my things from an elderly correspondent in the late 1970's on this line, and find that one of the ORIGINAL letters he sent was from this woman to her sister!!!!! I knew I had some original letters from him, but didn't remember that particular lady had written one of the ones I have.... She wrote this one in 1872..... I found a heart shaped rock today, and will leave it at her grave next Wed evening when I arrive.
