2 am I finished writing my second final exam. My TA will supervise the exam and grade it :) Today she presented her PhD proposal. The best I've seen here so far. She is good. Anyway, on Wednesday when my students are trying to do the final in managerial economics, I will be getting on a plane for Europe and the Middle East. Amsterdam first stop, then Tel Aviv on Friday evening and a week later back to the Netherlands (Groningen and Amsterdam) and finally to Umeå at 63 degrees north. Will be the furthest north I've been (been to Örnsköldsvik only a little south of there). Then back to the US. Yesterday I increased my News Corp position 50% at $A20.086. Also reduced cash and debt in Aus (they would let me buy options in the meantime and I don't need to buy puts which is why I had a cash reserve there). I am getting more confident that the market is turning around here. For a couple of months anyway...
