3 / 5 / 10 Year Treasury yields up 10+ bps

And the HBs are essentially flat!

Even Countrywide is pushing to get flat...

Now that's a conundrum!

Which is it?

1. Too many HB shorts - therefore selling already done
2. Spike in yields will be temporary (or won't contiue) therefore no need to sell HBs
3. RE Asset Inflation Party can continue "as long as mortgage rates don't go above 6.5 / 7 / 7.5 / 8"
4. So much liquidity out there, why not just buy everything...

I'm scratching my head here...
