Do the ten commandments confuse you? It confuses me why we can't have them on display in a courtroom lobby, especially since the US Gov't did not invent the idea that murder and theft are wrong. They could at least cite their source, which is what lawyers like to think they always do. The commandments don't seem particularly confusing to me - 1 God, don't murder or steal or cheat on your spouse, be nice to Mom and Dad - these are pretty fundamental if not always easy. But if they were easy, then they would not have to be commandments.
