No, The media's Not Liberal Jackson's Junction When Colin Powell appeared to be lobbying against Bolton's nomination as UN Ambassador -- it made all the headlines. It was splashed across all the front pages, and the liberal media breathlessly reported it as a lead story for two days. Today, Powell's Deputy Secretary of State, Richard Armitage, endorsed Bolton for UN Ambassador and where does the AP report it? In the 22nd paragraph of a twenty five paragraph story headlined: "Biden Hints at Delaying Bolton Vote." <<< Bolton also was endorsed by former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, who told a reporter, "John Bolton is eminently qualified. He's one of the smartest guys in Washington." >>> This is the single most important development in the Bolton story in weeks and it's buried and then some. This is the end of the drama. Bolton will be confirmed. Armitage gives the Republican wafflers cover. And the AP buries it as a hollow remedy for their extreme disappointment. No, the media's not liberal.
