I find myself having to agree, with a person who offers a reasoned argument, that churches who not only comment on politics, but try & direct their congregations's votes are crossing the line. Probably the only way to reel them in is to threaten to revoke tax benefits, then on some other multiple time of infractions, whether the second or third or forth, revoke it for a year, then 5 years, then forever. No problem at all with that. But you offered the argument in a reasoned manner, unlike the others here. The example you cited made me cringe for that church and for the Catholic faith. On another topic, Much as I hate to say it, what I read about what Putin has to say on Sun night will be true and we will have to agree with it.
