Yesterday's paper was a bombshell. I have to apply the principle that one is innocent until proven guilty, but the web surfing he has admitted to is totally inappropriate for a public figure. He's a Republican, but the last Mayor with similar headlines (the former mayor of Portland) was a Democrat. A city manager in a town where I lived once got caught in a police prostitution sting. The city council forgave him, but the second time he got caught they canned him. In my view, these guys can't hide behind a political party. Bill Clinton set a VERY bad example, and we'll be paying the price for that for a very long time. Anyway, I'm glad we don't even have a Mayor where I live.
