1. The vast majority of eligible voters in the US of A did not support Bush. You have got to begin to use your God-given intellect.

2. The Dems do not need to convert a single Bush supporter in order to win back the government and turn it back from RepublicanFascism.

3. The way out of Iraq: pack up and leave. We've handed sovereignty over to Iraqis, the vast majority of Iraqis want us to leave, we listen to them and leave.

4. We get the surplus back by: getting rid of the tax cut for the ultrawealthy, getting rid of amnesty for repatriation of corporate profits, getting out of Iraq and not starting other wars. We get the surplus back by cutting out all the pork and axing the inane Medicare bill so that the government negotiates with drug companies for better prices. We axe the inane estate tax repeal.

With all of these irrational and inefficient programs and cuts out the door, we can add a slightly improved economy and get back into surplus.

5. Bush LIED as usual. He keeps yammering that it's the lack of REFINERY CAPACITY that makes the price at the pump high. So what in the blooming heck is more oil going to do to prices if the refinery capacity is the same?

In fact, Bush says that he can't do one dang thing about prices except kiss the ass of the Saudi Despot and thank him for the windfall profits for the Bush family and cronies.

ANWR will take years to develop, will provide maybe 6 months worth in terms of US current usage AND is too high in sulfur for our use anyway. It will be sold to South America for Exxon's profit.

Your gas prices are 40% higher than they were last year. That's improvement? Gas prices also hit diesel users, plastics manufacturers, fertilizer prices as well. It's not summer driving season yet and, oh yeah, natural gas prices are up as well.

In addition to the gas price tax that Bush and his cronies are inflicting upon us, he is doing as little as possible to fix the longterm problem of fossil fuels.

6. I don't know about Saudi customs but I heard that it's not custom but personal preference that has the Despot holding hands with other men. Bush shouldn't have had the Despot and tyrant over to Crawford to begin with. Who the blooming heck is he to get cushy-tushy with a DESPOT?

Didn't he topple Despot Saddam? Why is he then holding hands with Despot Abdullah? Why?

Hypocrites.

========= Oh yeah. Fix Social Security by removing the cap completely on income. That will make SS rather less regressive than it is today (and therefore immoral) and completely take care of the problem without borrowing (it is immoral to borrow $2 Trillion) or benefit cuts.
