Elroy you are always so informative with your history lessons: Message 21302026 I posted this over at booms, can you give me some help to understand why I need to VALUE GOLD? Because I just don't get it. I have read mogambo, puplava, 321gold for many years now, learning new things here - but I just don't get why GOLD should be a store of VALUE for ME in the future, a computer geek that likes living in virtual games. I think I understand its use in the PAST - but I just don't see it in the future as a store of VALUE for me. I don't value gold jewelry, I don't value gold dinnerware, I don't value gold trinkets, I don't value gold teeth, I look around my room right now and about the only thing I probably have in my whole house with gold is a gold coin I have over in the corner collecting dust. I value my internet connection dearly though, and being able to log on to SI and read your history lessons is very valuable to me too - but the GOLD coin - convince me why I need to value it while it collects dust?
