BRK was not traded on a public board on 1/1/85 (New year's day) but it traded at 1275-1300 and closed at 1275 on Wednesday 1/2/85

and 1276-1300 and closed 1275 on Monday Dec 31, 1984.

So I guess you could say 1275.

But for some reason if this source is correct, it shows "n/a" for volume on Wednesday.

And of course there were no "A" shares, because at that time there were no "B" shares.
