trying desperately to find one economic area where George Bush hasn't failed miserably are you?

Well, yes, I have to admit that since Bush took office, the implosion of number of companies in existance has caused at least the few remaining tech companies to be immensely profitable.

We are down to below 1982 levels as far as number of companies on the naz, and those few that are left are generating profits.

I don't think that cancels out the following economic report card for Bush, though:

- deficits as far as the eye can see
- crashing dollar
- job growth below population levels for 4 YEARS
- wage growth stagnant or declining for Bush's entire term
- poverty levels increasing
- Bear market for Bush's entire term (unheard of in US equities since the 70s)
- return of inflation (unheard of since the 70s)

Go Bush!

(btw- here's the good news- Bush can't do anymore economic damage since he has already spent all the available capital. His few agenda items are failing, these are that social security plan and the ridiculous republican drug plan is being repealed. a few more years of Bush as a lame duck and then maybe this economy can finally recover)
