I thought this was very interesting, from your article:

"Other research at BYU has shown that physically and relationally aggressive children are more likely to have parents who discipline with psychological control and manipulation, withdrawing love, avoiding eye contact and laying guilt trips on the kids."

I think children watch their parents from early babyhood and mimic the parents' behaviors. Since this article was mostly about girls, I found it very interesting how even in late babyhood my daughter used all the eye rolling and eyelash batting and all the other flirtatious and coy behaviors to wrap her daddy around her little finger that I did. Thank goodness I wasn't a manipulative bitch. I think girls definitely learn that kind of aggressive behavior at home.
