Why is hemp so fascinating? Sure you can make rope and fabrics out of it, and apparently run a bus on it. But hemp has well-known properties that do bad things to people who smoke or ingest it.

I just don't see the appeal.

Not to mention that it is illegal in many places. Does that make a difference to you?

I did not appreciate the illegal pot farms that we sometimes found on national forest land. Some of them were protected by pitfalls and pungi stakes. Not cool.
