What should we do?

As you say. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Nano solar electricity
Biofuels
Wind energy
Conservation

But only if we have the time and insight to invest and adapt. Time to do the alternatives was back in the mid seventies of the previous century.

But wait...

Didn't a previous president try that only to have it repealed by a republican successor as a non-answer?. After all we had abundant supplies of oil. Or so was stated.

For investing in todays world perhaps industrial chain link fencing with an electrified razor wire top would be much more practical and strategic.

If you believe in the peak theories we may value what we can hold in our hand. Or plant in the ground.

If only I had the answer to that question I have been asking for a few years now.

"Is this really happening?"

My father told me once, "If you are worried about something, act like it already happened and you will not have to worry about it.".
