I actually have no problem with anybody that seeks and/or maintains power based on an ability to communicate ideas and solutions or philosophies. In my opinion, I see a problem with power when it is the end in itself - not a vehicle for ideas and public service. If the Democrats could communicate ideas instead of planning constant obstruction games, I would not see their desire for power as a negative....but power without the communication of ideas is a negative.

A person or party with power has a responsibility and if they fail with that responsibility, they should lose power. The Democrats have been losing power every election after Bill Clinton took office.
