Hi Jim; responding to a post from OCT 03 because at the time what you wrote was a question that was on a lot of peoples minds. Now here we are aprox 20 months later and these small guys have delivered the fundamental growth. Smart money bought, while those that exited the big cap tech to reposition did so in full awareness that billion share floats all take their own sweet time rationalizing then current prices.

This economy is in for big time transitions, money flow is key to understanding the impending shifts of market share....the M&A business will be hot the rest of the year, much of the unfavorables relating to price is in place to facilitate consolidations...of..small companies which keep getting bigger. Many big mid sized companies are stalled at ceilings that will hold them in place for as long as it takes for the investors to determine whether the company has made the right moves relating to the future.

frankly cant remember a time when the impending shifts in the balance of power too new materials, mediums, methodologies was so compelling as it is right now. By end of this decade; new materials manufacturing will begin to remake our world, everything stronger, cheaper, lighter products will be the savior of the manufacturing economy.

Semiconductor content is going up 10 maybe 100 fold in autos, planes, trains ships, advanced materials will change every economic aspect of the transportation industry.

Capital is already flowing.....Stalk the right dips and watch the patterns of M&A activity.
