The bottom line is what counts. Because of the size of their market area, they actually MADE money. Florida, when Wayne Huyzinga owned them, won the World Series and LOST 20 million. Before the championship season was over he announced that he was going to break up the team and sell it. The thing that impresses me most about the Braves is that since AOL/TW assumed ownership they have had to slash payroll annually and STILL won 13 straight divisional titles (and counting!). Nobody (not even the Yankees) in ANY sport has ever come close to doing that.
