Grainne, that last paragraph of your post has so many conclusory statements, I don't know where to start. Monsanto and evil corporations that finance groups like this? Huh? What is the basis for this statement? Can you in all honesty say that you have any? I sincerely doubt it.

I PM'd you to say that I drilled deeper into the site that had the data about the Foundation you were talking about, and I noted that I know that at least one individual involved - Alan Gottlieb, is noted for being very, very conservative. That said, I have no reason to doubt the facts cited, i.e., that the foundation has investments in the stocks of companies that are not necessarily the most eco-friendly of companies.

Also, what is the basis or support for your comment that it is the "stated goal [of this and similar groups] go destroy any environmental conscience anywhere?"

No really, don't you think this statement is a little over the top?
