LESS government involvement is appropriate.

I agree with that opinion.

The federal government should not fund the partisan PBS. If they wish to continue to exist, then they should find funding from people who wish to support their points of view. I do not contribute, and have not since I noticed how biased they were several years ago. Prior to that, I was a contributor to my local PBS affiliate.
