Jim, I respectfully disagree w/ you.

NT will only eat away at the low end line. Not the high end (where the margins remain high).

SUNW is not trading at the high end of its valuations. It's off about 20% from early July. SUNW's P/E based on 97 earnings is only 17, which is in line w/ HWP.

Jim, with the exception of Intel and Microsoft, every tech stock faces stiff competition. It's those that can continue to beat earnings quarter after quarter which will rise above the rest. SUNW has accomplished this, HWP hasn't.

If you think the workstation and server markets are competitive, then you should be bearish on all computer companies (i.e. Dell, CPQ, HWP, GATE). Because in that industry, the margins are razor thin and competition is even more fierce- with thousands of competitors.
