I came in late into the discussion. The crisis over accepting homosexuality is a theme in many churches and religions.

The opinion of cirrus that Republicans are trying to turn the country into a theocracy is ridiculous. A more realistic charge would be that Lefties are trying to control people and government through Authoritarian Liberalism.

I am not going to defend the UCC because I am just finding out the details of their "positions" on social issues as a "Church Organization."

Our church stays out of the social issues, our preachers are very open and preach about Jesus, not about personal issues.

You do not have to defend your church to me.
