Al, while George Will is right on the money, as usual, he might want to spend a little more time explaining how the "assault on people of faith" is indeed petty, and how that makes the "persecution complex" unnecessary to say the least.

I don't want to fall into some "read my post" mis-interpretation of what you wrote. Can you state clearly your points without ambiguitiy and quotation marks? Thanks.

For example, George Will mentions the success of "Passion," but he neglects to mention the controversy surrounding its release. Remember those who protested against the movie's supposed anti-Semitic message? Better yet, remember Andy Looney's bitter comments?

So the Jews are as sensitive about having been depicted as the killers of Christ in the Bible...they are no less vocal about their sensitivities as Christians are about theirs...what is so shocking about that? As one among the religiously persecuted you should understand their position.
